7-Eleven, the country's largest convenience store chain with 319 outlets nationwide, as of this posting date, recently announced its instant Millionaire for the "Wanted: Winner of P1 Million" promo.   

The lucky winner, Elmer P. Agapito, went home with P1 million cash, tax-free, after besting hundreds of thousands of other loyal 7-Eleven patrons who joined the raffle.  There were also 10 winners of P100,000 cash.  

The winning entries were selected last March 28, April 4 and April 11 through raffle draw from qualified entries received.

The "Wanted: Winner of P1 Million" promo which started last March 19, 2008 and ended on April 8, 2008, was the successful finale to 7-Eleven's "Peel-A-Million" promo, which gave away loads of P100 worth of gift certificates, along with P5,000 to P10,000 instant cash prizes to 1,725 lucky winners hailing from various points in the country. 

Peel-A-Million promo was launched last November 14, 2007 and was extended to February 19, 2008.  Despite the extension, the promo failed to yield major cash prize winners.  To give away these big bucks, 7-Eleven came up with "Wanted: Winner of 1 Million", to make it even easier for loyal customers to finally hit the jackpot: ten P100,000 and one P1 million cash prizes (tax-free).

"Through the "Wanted: Winner of 1 Million" promo, the unclaimed cash prizes from the previous Peel-A-Million promo are now finally awarded to lucky winners. This proves without doubt 7-Eleven's sincere intention to give back to our customers who made us the No.1 convenience store chain in the Philippines," said Mike Chuaunsu, Marketing Director for 7-Eleven Philippines.

The lucky winners' names have already been posted in 7-Eleven official website.
